Dance and durians party!

For a lot of us, durians seems a great source of happiness. Of course, to me, dance also equals happiness. 

Now what happens when we combine these 2 sources of happiness together? 

Ben's Chicken Dance

May 12th- On this day, some of my dance students organized a fantastic 'Ben-mazing Race' at Gardens by the Bay. At 9 am, they were already at the door, wishing me 'Happy Birthday'. We had an absolute blast the whole day. My heart is overwhelmed!

The first question that they asked me of my birthday race was with regards to my birth year! Of course, it is 1990. The result- the chicken dance!

May 8- Pre-Birthday Celebrations!

Last Friday, my dance class people surprised me with a birthday cake. It was absolutely delicious!

Happy Lunar New Year 2015

Happy Lunar New Year 2015! I love the "Lo Hei" because it symbolizes all the hopes and dreams we would like to see come into reality. At Ben Lau Dance, my students wished for happiness, prosperity, health and peace. 

I am sure that these wishes will be granted and realized in this new year. It is also wonderful to see such bonds and friendships formed through Dance. We are here for each other.
